![]() ![]() I use Purgators a bit like snipers with Psilencers, but don't count too much on Disruption Shot to break Overwatch against Plague Marines, as some of them may have some resistances to debuffs. Purgators work well with grenades, but Purifiers can do all the same things, except even better. Other than that, every other class has its place. A massive AOE blast that is great for wiping out eyeball spawners on Bloom Spawn missions (if you leave the eyeballs, they will spawn Plaguewalkers. Smite which can potentially hit for 4 damage at any range, and doesn't care about cover. Excellent stun ability with Psychic Scream (which was restored to a small AoE, thank the Emperor) Before this, you need to use the Gate of Infinity strategem, which is limited in use. Mass group teleport, which greatly speeds up map traverse and getting your heavy hitters into the fight. You always want to run at least one Librarian by late game. ![]() While I'd love to play an Imperial assassin in a stealth game, like Dishonored but 40K, I'll settle for having them added to Daemonhunters.Librarians are perhaps the most useful class. I've never bothered bumping the difficulty up to Ruthless, let alone Legendary, and the previous DLC, Duty Eternal, made it even harder. Daemonhunters is a great tactics game, but an unforgiving one. ![]() The Grey Knights could certainly do with the help. Maybe we'll be getting an expansion that adds an assassin to our squad? Or lets us do missions with a whole squad of sneaky killers? The fact nine hidden achievements were recently added to Daemonhunters, it might be something substantial. The video, embedded above, is presented as a transmission from someone named Grand Master Havlik to Inquisitor Vakir, one of the NPCs who joins your ship during the campaign, simply asking: "What do you think you have found?" It's bookended by the symbol of a skull with a dagger behind it that represents the Officio Assassinorum, the Imperium's executioners, which gives us a clue. ![]()
